lookup software package provides interactive utility to search text files quickly, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lookup
lookup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lookup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lookup *
You will get with lookup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
